The Shepherd’s Gift: GM1 for HD
Friday June 26th 7:30 PM-8:30 PM
Hillcrest Park Shelter A, 4th St and 15th Ave, Brookings
Huntington’s Disease (HD) has been described as MS, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease all rolled into one. This debilitating and fatal neurologic disease currently has no disease modifying treatment.
Sheep Farmers have joined together to raise a special genetic line of sheep that produce the GM1 to help HD families. Please join us as we raise funds to move GM1 into clinical trials.
We would like to thank the many local and regional artists who have generously donated items for the auction. You may view the items available from 7:30 to 8:00 pm. Auction begins at 8:01 pm. The auction is open to the public, so please let your friends know. Please come and join us to make this a successful event!
